The Portugal Golden Visa Cost Calculator is a free, independent tool that estimates the full, real cost of obtaining Portuguese residency through investment — beyond the headline investment figure, including government processing fees, legal fees, and the renewal costs that applicants often overlook.

Since Portugal removed the real-estate route, most applicants now use the qualifying investment-fund option (commonly €500,000). Adding up the application, biometric, and ongoing fees on top of that is confusing, so this tool brings them together for a realistic total.
